The Short Version

No data collection. No account system. No tracking pixels watching what you play. No database with your name in it. Every tool on FretLogic runs in your browser and stays there.

Your Mic, Your Business

The tuner asks for microphone access so it can hear your strings. That audio never leaves your device. It is not recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. Processing happens in your browser tab. Close the tab and it is gone.

Local Storage

Some tools save your preferences (like your last BPM setting or preferred tuning) using your browser's localStorage. That data lives on your device and only your device. I never see it. You can clear it anytime through your browser settings if you want a fresh start.

Analytics

Google Analytics (GA4) is active on the site. It gives me a general sense of which tools get used and where traffic comes from: page views, rough geographic region, device type. It does not tell me who you are. If you want to opt out, Google's Analytics Opt-out extension handles that.

Ads (Maybe, Eventually)

I might add ads through Google AdSense at some point to help cover hosting costs. If that happens, AdSense may use cookies to show you relevant ads. You can manage that through Google's Ad Settings. I'll update this page if and when that changes.

No Backend, No Database

FretLogic is a static site. No server stores your information. No user accounts, no sessions, no database. The tools run in your browser.

Links to Other Sites

If I link to something external, that site has its own privacy practices. I can't vouch for what they do with your data, so take a look at their policies if that matters to you.

Updates

If anything here changes, I'll update this page. No surprises.
